New ESOL Course Launched at Pars Community

We are excited to announce the launch of our new English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course, which began in June 2025 at the LCVS Building, home of the Liverpool Citizen Centre, where the Pars Community is based. This comprehensive eight-month program is designed to enhance English language skills and will culminate in a final examination in February 2026.

Course Details and Certification

The ESOL course is equivalent to ESOL Level 1 and aligns with B1 or B2 proficiency levels on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Students who successfully pass the final speaking, writing, and listening exams will receive a certification, recognizing their achievement and proficiency in English. The course is tailored to equip students with the skills needed for real-world communication and further educational or professional opportunities.

Selection Process and Class Structure

In May 2025, we conducted three entrance tests to select candidates for the course. From these, we accepted 20 students who demonstrated the required aptitude to join the program. For those who missed the initial registration, we have created a waiting list to accommodate late applicants. Classes are held every Monday and Tuesday, providing consistent and engaging English lessons to prepare students for the final exam.

Join Our Learning Community

This ESOL course reflects our commitment to supporting the Pars Community in Liverpool by fostering language development and integration. For more information about the course, future sessions, or how to join the waiting list, please contact us at the Liverpool Citizen Centre. We look forward to helping more students achieve their language goals!
