High pass for almost every candidate
In 2025-26, the first official year of the course, almost every learner achieved a high pass at B1 (Entry 3) and B2 (Level 1). The exam has two parts: a written exam (reading, writing and listening) and a speaking exam.
These are standard, Ofqual-regulated qualifications recognised across the UK - the same level as the ESOL certificates offered by City of Liverpool College, Hugh Baird College and other UK colleges. They help you find work, enrol on practical and vocational college courses, and some universities accept them instead of IELTS.
