Celebrating Our First ESOL Graduates – and Places Now Open for 2026–27

On 24 August 2026, Pars Community proudly celebrated the graduation of the very first learners on the Pars Community ESOL Course – and what a year it has been.
This was the first year Pars Community has run the course officially, and almost every candidate achieved a high pass in their ESOL exams at B1 and B2 level. The exam had two parts – a written exam (reading, writing and listening) and a speaking exam – and our learners rose to the challenge in both.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. Many of our learners balanced their studies with work, family and a new life in the UK – and their commitment shows in these results. Congratulations to all our graduates, and thank you to our teachers, volunteers and funders who made it possible.
Meet the team
Saeid Heydari – Course Leader & Teacher (English & Farsi)

University-trained in English translation and fluent in both languages. Lessons are mainly in English, with Farsi support for beginners who are not yet confident learning fully in English.
Janet Kent – Teaching Assistant

A native British former teacher with an English literature background and many years of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages. In class she helps with new phrases, idioms, vocabulary and UK culture.
David Golabli – Management & Partnerships Lead

A member of our management committee, David secures funding for the course and leads our partnership with DWP Liverpool, so learners can start with us instead of waiting a year for a college place.
Tabassom – Exams & Admissions Officer

Registers new learners, books exams and coordinates everything around exam day – your first point of contact when you join.
How the course works
Year planner: every term date, break and exam, planned from day one.
Online lesson log: updated every week with each lesson and its materials, so you can catch up or revise at any time.
Class WhatsApp group: lesson summaries, reminders and support between classes.
A new term has begun
Our new course started in September 2026. This year's learners are mainly Farsi speakers who want to find work or start a college course that requires an English qualification. Because it is still early in the term, we have places available now.
Why learn with Pars Community?

No waiting list – many Liverpool colleges have waiting lists of up to a year. You can start with us straight away.
No entry exam – just a short, friendly interview so we can place you in the right class and level.

Bilingual support – lessons are mainly in English, with a teacher fluent in both Farsi and English to support beginners.
Refreshments included – tea, coffee, fruit and snacks at every break.
Central location – LCVS Building, 151 Dale Street, Liverpool L2 2AH, close to the city centre and bus routes.
