On May 29, 2025, the Pars Community hosted an inspiring Grand Workshop of Persian Poetry and Music at the LCVS Building in Liverpool, where our community is proudly based. Held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this vibrant event brought together nearly 50 participants to celebrate the rich tapestry of Persian culture through music, poetry, and community connection. The workshop provided a unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the beauty of traditional and international music, alongside evocative poetry readings.

Exploring Persian and Global Musical Traditions
The event was a haven for those eager to discover a variety of Iranian, ancient Persian, and international musical instruments. Live music performances and poetry readings captivated the audience, with talented musicians seizing the chance to introduce themselves and their craft to the community. From traditional Persian melodies to global rhythms, the workshop showcased the diversity and depth of musical expression. Prizes were awarded for the best performances, adding excitement and recognition to the day’s festivities, while refreshments ensured a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Merseyside Police for their participation and to Liverpool Council for their efforts in amplifying our event and motivating participants and music bands. Special gratitude goes to Melody Music Academy, whose dedication and exceptional performances were instrumental in organizing and enriching this cultural celebration.
