PARS Community is dedicated to providing vital support and advice to asylum seekers and new arrivals in the UK. Every month, we organize workshops designed to assist those who are navigating the complexities of the UK immigration system for the first time. Our sessions are held at the Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) in Liverpool and can accommodate up to 30 participants each time.

Legal Assistance: Guidance on how to find and work with a solicitor to ensure proper legal representation.
Entitlement Registration: Step-by-step advice on signing up for weekly entitlements, ensuring that new arrivals receive the support they are entitled to.
Interpreter Services: Information on how to secure interpreters for important interviews and official communications.
Documentation Help: Assistance with completing necessary surveys, Home Office questionnaires, and other critical documentation.
Accommodation Advice: Practical tips on what to expect and how to manage temporary accommodations such as hotels and hostels.
Housing Search: Strategies for finding long-term housing, including tips on searching for houses and shared accommodations.
Cultural Orientation: Learn the do's and don'ts of living in the UK to help you adapt and integrate smoothly into British society.
Community Integration: Opportunities to mix with the local community, fostering connections and building a support network.
These workshops are a valuable resource for those who are unfamiliar with the UK system and need comprehensive guidance to navigate their new environment.
