Online Competitions

The Community has developed online competitions that focus on poetry, photography, history, and short stories. These competitions aim to inspire creativity, promote self-expression, and provide an opportunity for the member to share their stories and experiences.

Pars Community recognizes the importance of fostering creativity and self-expression, particularly among individuals who may be struggling with difficult circumstances as asylum seekers, refugees and newcomers to the UK.

As part of their efforts to support the community, they offer online competitions that focus on a range of topics, including poetry, photography, history, and short stories. These competitions provide an opportunity for members to share their unique experiences and perspectives, and to connect with others who may be going through similar challenges.

The poetry competition encourages participants to express their emotions and experiences through verse, while the photography competition invites members to capture and share their unique perspectives on the world around them. The history competition challenges individuals to delve into their cultural heritage and explore the stories and traditions that have shaped their lives, while the short story competition allows participants to unleash their imaginations and create compelling narratives.

By encouraging creativity and self-expression, the Pars Community is helping to break down barriers and promote a sense of community and belonging. Moreover, participating in these competitions can be a mood booster and a way to fight depression and loneliness, particularly for those who may be experiencing isolation or cultural adjustment challenges. The Pars Community is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all members of the community, and their online competitions are just one way in which they are working to achieve this goal.
