Strengthening Community Safety: Pars Community Welcomes Merseyside Police

Pars Community is pleased to welcome representatives from Merseyside Police for a special community meeting dedicated to personal and community safety, crime prevention and crime reporting. This important event forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and informing members of our community by providing direct access to local organisations and public services.

The meeting will take place on Friday 14th August, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at the LCVS Building (First Floor), Liverpool City Centre. Community members, the Pars Community management team, teachers, staff members and volunteers are invited to attend this informative session and hear directly from Merseyside Police about issues affecting our local communities.

During the meeting, officers from Merseyside Police will deliver a presentation covering a range of important topics, including personal safety, community safety, recognising and preventing crime, reporting incidents, and the support services available to local residents. The session will also provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, raise concerns and gain a better understanding of how the police work with local communities to create safer neighbourhoods.

Pars Community believes that building strong relationships with public organisations is essential for creating a safe, informed and connected community. Events such as this encourage open communication, increase awareness of local services and help ensure that everyone—particularly newcomers to the UK—understands where to seek help, advice and support when needed.

The meeting is open to members of the community from all backgrounds, including asylum seekers, refugees, newly arrived families, international students, visa holders, people who have been granted permission to stay in the UK and long-term residents. We hope this event will help participants feel more confident, informed and connected while strengthening trust and cooperation between the community and local police.
