About the Event
Pars Community is delighted to announce the launch of our Free Skin and Facial Care Course, a new community programme designed to help participants develop practical beauty therapy skills, improve their confidence and wellbeing, and gain valuable knowledge that may support future education or employment opportunities.
The course will begin on Thursday 3rd September and will run for six months, with classes taking place every Thursday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the LCVS Building, Liverpool City Centre. Registration opens on Monday 27th July and closes on Monday 24th August. Anyone wishing to register is asked to visit the Pars Community office with a photo ID and proof of address to complete their enrolment.
Throughout the programme, participants will receive practical training in a wide range of skin and facial care techniques. The course will introduce learners to the fundamentals of skincare, facial cleansing, skin analysis, facial massage, professional skincare routines, hygiene standards, client care and the correct use of beauty products and equipment. Whether participants are interested in developing a new hobby, learning valuable life skills or exploring future career opportunities within the beauty industry, this course provides an excellent opportunity to learn in a friendly and professional environment.
As with many of Pars Community's educational programmes, the course is completely free of charge, and refreshments will be provided during each session. Our aim is to remove financial barriers to learning and ensure that members of the community can access high-quality educational opportunities regardless of their circumstances.
The course is open to women from all nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. We warmly welcome asylum seekers, refugees, newly arrived families, international students, visa holders, people who have been granted permission to stay in the UK, and long-term residents. At Pars Community, diversity and inclusion remain at the heart of everything we do, and we believe everyone deserves equal access to education, personal development and opportunities to build new skills.
In addition to learning practical techniques, participants will have the opportunity to meet new people, build friendships, increase their confidence and become part of a supportive community. Our courses are designed not only to teach valuable skills but also to improve wellbeing, encourage social inclusion and help people feel more connected within their local community.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our funders, supporters and partner organisations whose generosity makes programmes like this possible. Their continued support allows Pars Community to provide free educational and community activities that empower individuals and strengthen communities across Liverpool.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to this exciting new course and helping participants begin a rewarding learning journey in skin and facial care.
